ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

1. All abstracts should be submitted in the application form.

2. All abstract submissions should be kept to a maximum of 300 words.

​

3. All abstract submissions should be written in English and no graphics, tables or charts are permitted. The submissions should also be free of grammatical and spelling errors.

​

4. All abstract submissions should adhere to the above rules and follow the abstract template. Should the submitted abstracts not meet the above guidelines, the abstract would be disqualified and shall not shortlisted for the competition.

PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

ORAL PRESENTATION

 1. The presenters are required to switch on their camera and be dressed formally for the presentation.

 2. The language for the presentation must be in English.

​

 3. The presentation slides must be shared with the judges on the platform and they must be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation (saved in .ppt or .pptx format).

​

 4. The allocated time is 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A session.

​

 5. There is no fixed style and arrangement for the presentation slides. However, the presentation slides must include:

POSTER PRESENTATION

1. Posters shall be received and assessed by a panel of judges prior to the event day. No "Question and Answer (Q&A)" session will be involved. Thus, applicants do not need to present their poster on the event day and should only submit their poster for assessment.

2. All posters must be submitted to the Poster Submission Form linked below:

3. All posters must be submitted before the 28th February 2021, 11:59 pm. We urge you to submit your poster prior to the deadline as late submissions will not be accepted. 

 

4. All posters must be in English.

5. Posters can be in portrait or landscape orientation (size A0):

6. The title, author(s), affiliation must be included. The presenting author’s name should be underlined in the poster.

9. Posters will be showcased on our website and on a zoom breakout room on the event day to be viewed by our respected attendees.
